I'm Ryan Fadel, a recent high school graduate from Urbana, Illinois, currently pursuing an Associate degree in Electronic Control Systems Technology at Parkland College.

What first got me interested in becoming an electrician was the hands-on nature of the work. I was especially drawn to how something as powerful as electricity can be controlled, routed and turned into safe, reliable systems people depend on every day.

I'm looking to get started in the electrical trade — whether through an apprenticeship or another entry-level role — where I can gain real hands-on experience, learn from people who've been in the field, and build a solid long-term career.

Through my coursework, I've built a foundation in wiring, electrical theory, and reading blueprints. I also bring a strong work ethic and attention to detail from past work experience in fast-paced environments.
